Ashleigh Mitchell
Ashleigh joined Burgess Mee Family Law in July 2023, having recently relocated to London from New Zealand. Ashleigh is a New Zealand qualified solicitor. She studied law and commerce at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand and qualified as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in March 2019.
Prior to relocating to London, Ashleigh worked at a family law firm in Dunedin for 4.5 years. She has a range of private family law experience including advising on divorce, finances, child arrangements, protection from domestic violence and postnuptial and prenuptial agreements. She also has significant advocacy experience.
Ashleigh prides herself on adopting a practical and empathetic approach and is committed to her clients. She is a member of Resolution, an organisation of family lawyers which promotes a constructive and non-confrontational approach to family law cases.
Outside of work, Ashleigh enjoys travelling, hiking, reading, spending time with family and friends and enjoying all the culture and parks that London has to offer.
