Laura Hallahan


Laura advises on a range of family law matters including divorce, matrimonial finance, cohabitation, pre and post nuptial agreements and private children matters.

Laura studied Law at the University of Cambridge before completing the Legal Practice Course at BPP in Holborn. She trained at Boodle Hatfield, where she predominantly advised high net worth clients in complex financial remedy proceedings. She also gained experience in property and trust law, which has enhanced her understanding of complex wealth structures in the family law context. She joined Burgess Mee upon qualification in September 2019.

Laura is a member of Resolution, an organisation for family lawyers, and promotes a non-confrontational approach to resolving family issues.

In her spare time, Laura enjoys spending time with friends and visiting London’s art galleries, theatre and comedy shows.
