Alice specialises in complex financial remedy cases on divorce. She has acted on behalf of business owners/entrepreneurs, doctors, sports professionals, teachers, bankers and city lawyers. She works alongside trust and tax professionals in a collaborative manner on her cases, particularly on her TOLATA and Schedule 1 cases. She is frequently instructed to draft pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements (or advise upon them) for high-net-worth individuals. These agreements often have an international element and involve trust assets. Alice’s legal expertise is delivered to clients in a pragmatic, calm and sensitive manner. Alice was a core member of the team representing Mr Sharland following the Supreme Court decision in October 2015 Sharland v Sharland [2015] UKSC 60.
Alice has spoken at trust conferences in Seville and Rome, providing a family law perspective, and is regularly on panel discussions with other professional advisors. She was awarded Gold in Citywealth’s Future Leaders Family Lawyer of the Year – Senior/ Managing Associate in November 2021. More recently Alice was named as one of the 2024 eprivateclient NextGen Leaders. She is a member of the Contentious Trusts Association (ConTRA) and other professional associations.
