Antonia is the joint founder of the firm and runs it alongside Peter Burgess. Together they have grown the firm, developed its different specialisms and ensured that its strategy remains innovative and forward-thinking. She jointly developed with Peter Burgess the firm’s sister website, The Happy Co-Parent.  

Her expertise in family law is in medium to high and ultra-high value financial cases and all types of private law children cases.  In the 2024 edition of Chambers & Partners Family/Matrimonial:HNW Antonia is described as “… a force of nature" and ".. a brilliant lawyer."   Her children practice remains highly regarded by barrister/solicitor referrers. She is known for specialising in cases where allegations of abuse or controlling behaviour have been made and where there are issues around alienation. She has particular specialism in relocation cases both “internal” and “external” (leave to remove).  In Chambers and Partners Family/Matrimonial:Children directory 2024 she is described as “… very good at relocation work. She is very good with clients and quickly builds up a relationship with them."  and “She is brilliant - she knows everything about everything and is super personable."  

Antonia’s specialisms also include cases involving clients or their partners with personality disorders and she regularly gets inquiries from potential new clients who are looking for this expertise.

Antonia has excellent professional connections in New Zealand including KCs who regularly refer cross-border work to her.  This is an area which is likely to continue to develop due to the increasing number of marriages with NZ/English elements and given that the NZ court cannot make orders in relation to foreign immovable property unless the parties agree.  

Antonia sits on the corporate partners’ steering committee of the Drive Forward Foundation, a charity with which the firm is closely associated. Through the charity the firm offers work experience and mentoring to care leavers.  Antonia still advises regularly at the Tuesday night Family Law Clinic at Peckham CAB. She co-founded this clinic several years ago and continues to recruit solicitors from within the firm and city solicitors to advise clients there.
