About Harriet

Harriet joined Burgess Mee Family Law in October 2021. She previously worked at Payne Hicks Beach where she completed her training contract and qualified as a solicitor in August 2020.  Harriet advises on a range of family law matters, including divorce, matrimonial finance, cohabitation, nuptial agreements, and private children matters.

At her previous firm, Harriet gained significant experience of civil litigation and so brings to her family practice an enthusiasm for strategic thinking and finding creative solutions to complex problems.

Harriet read Biological Anthropology at the University of Cambridge. After graduating, she worked in the non-profit sector before deciding to pursue a career in law. She went on to complete the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course, achieving a Distinction in both.

Harriet is a member of Resolution, an organisation which promotes a constructive approach to resolving family disputes.

Outside work, Harriet enjoys travelling, particularly to destinations where she can scuba dive. While in London, Harriet enjoys going to the ballet, gigs and musicals.
