About Jacqueline

Jacqueline joined Burgess Mee in June 2021. Prior to this she trained at Family Law Partners, where she gained extensive experience in private family law matters, including divorce, financial remedy and contact disputes. Jacqueline also has experience in work involving modern families, such as surrogacy and assisted reproduction.

After completing her undergraduate degree at Brown University, Jacqueline worked as an arts and culture journalist in London and New York. In 2014 she completed a Masters in Public Policy at UCL while working in a constituency office, speaking with members of the public about their particular issues and concerns. This experience strengthened Jacqueline’s passion for finding practical solutions to problems and she decided to pursue a career in law.

Jacqueline completed the Graduate Diploma in Law in 2016 with commendation and the Legal Practice Course in 2017 at BPP University with distinction.

She is a member of Resolution and is focused on a constructive and sensitive approach to relationship breakdown.

Jacqueline is an avid runner, reader and podcast listener. As a dual British/American citizen, she is active in empowering US citizens to exercise their right to vote in US elections from abroad.
