Victoria joined Burgess Mee in June 2026. She is dual qualified to practice in England & Wales and Northern Ireland. Victoria trained and practised with a UK regional firm and moved to a West End firm where she became a partner, before relocating and joining a leading firm in Belfast in 2023. She continued to serve London based clients from there.
Victoria advises across a range of family issues that can flow from the breakdown of a relationship. Victoria’s particular interest is around child arrangements, domestic and international. These include complex matters involving disputes about medication, education and allegations of serious harm as well as international relocation and wrongful retention. Victoria has increasing experience of working with families and individuals with neurodivergent considerations. She regularly advises international families on both financial and child matters and has a strong interest in the development of modern family law in the domestic and international arena. She has a keen appreciation of how the law needs to evolve in response to the ever-changing nature of family structures. She also advises on a full range of financial issues, including nuptial agreements, and has particular experience of acting in cases involving corporate and commercial structures, inherited wealth and family businesses and farms.
Victoria is a Resolution trained mediator and puts that training to use in her daily practice. She is committed to promoting out of court resolutions and has a keen interest in exploring the various NCDR routes to resolution. She is an advocate of using a multi-disciplinary team to try and best address the impact that family breakdown can have on individuals and their families.
Victoria has experience of acting for and working alongside an eclectic mix of individuals from a range of backgrounds including city traders, entrepreneurs, HNW individuals, homemakers and those with a public profile in the entertainment, business, media and sporting world. She has a strong focus on protecting confidentiality at all times and an awareness of reputation management.
She has provided comment for national newspapers and Bloomberg radio and has contributed to various family law industry written publications.
Victoria sits on the committee of the London Irish Lawyers Association.
