About Vikkie

Vikkie studied Law at the University of Surrey and graduated in 2013 before completing the Legal Practice Course at BPP in Holborn. She joined Burgess Mee Family Law as a newly qualified solicitor in February 2018 after completing her training at a boutique firm in North London. She was promoted to Associate in July 2021.

Vikkie handles a range of family law cases, including complex financial proceedings frequently involving family trusts, significant business structures and forensic disclosure requests. She specialises in pre- and post- nuptial agreements for a range of clients from all walks of life, often for high net worth clients with a focus on sports personalities and their families. She has written articles about prenuptial agreements for both Resolution and the Family Law Journal.

She also has a wealth of experience in private children law matters, particularly those involving allegations of domestic violence and abuse, and where the other party involved is particularly intransigent.

Vikkie has a particular interest in the rights of the transgender and gender diverse communities in family law. She had an article published by Resolution on the well-known 2020 case of Bell & Anor v The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust and continues to keep up with developments in this area.

Vikkie is a member of Resolution and sits on their South West London committee. She is also a member of Law for Life’s Advice Now service, providing low-cost legal advice to those who need it.
