Charlotte Ballard Scott

Charlotte joined Burgess Mee in September 2023.  She qualified as a family lawyer in 1999 having trained at BLM in Liverpool.  Following two years at Ross & Craig in London Charlotte joined City firm Kingsley Napley LLP in their family department in 2001, becoming a partner in 2006.

Charlotte specialises in both financial and children work, with a particular experience in high net worth matrimonial cases.

Charlotte trained as a collaborative lawyer and is a member of Resolution, a community of family justice professionals who work with families and individuals to resolve issues in a constructive way.

Charlotte has returned to family law having taken a career break to look after her two children. During her time away Charlotte has volunteered with local charities and developed skills in mentoring, recruitment and team management.

Out of the office Charlotte’s interests include travelling, listening to podcasts and audio books and exercising on her Peloton bike.
