Ffion Greenfield

Senior Associate

Ffion joined Burgess Mee in September 2023, having previously worked in the family team at a large West End law firm for five years.

Ffion advises on all aspects of family law including divorce and the resolution of financial matters upon separation, pre and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation and separation agreements, variation and enforcement applications and all matters relating to children including issues about education, relocation and abduction. 

Ffion’s varied caseload ranges from the straightforward to the more complex financial matters with high value, cross-jurisdictional issues, and complex pension matters. She has experience advising clients from a variety of backgrounds including those of a high-profile nature.

Ffion is dedicated to achieving the best outcome for her clients. She is focused on providing pragmatic, solutions-based advice and is committed to promoting resolutions out of court where appropriate. She is a Resolution trained family mediator and a member of the Family Mediation Council.

Experience

Acted for the husband in successfully preventing the mother’s planned relocation with the child within England and securing the child’s placement at their preferred school.

Advising in the preparation of high value pre-nuptial agreements.

Acted in numerous cases for financial relief in England following an overseas divorce including in relation to English pensions.

Acted in the report case of L v B (Children : Specific Issues : Temporary Leave to Remove from the Jurisdiction; Circumcision) [2016] EWHC 849.

Ffion has recent experience of acting in a dispute over education. She has worked with FTSE100 CEO’s and prominent public figures and she has experience in cases with issues of non-disclosure.
