Shaili joined Burgess Mee as a newly qualified solicitor in December 2021. After obtaining a distinction in her masters on alternative dispute resolution in Family Law, Shaili worked as a paralegal and trainee solicitor in other London firms prior to joining Burgess Mee. She has had hands on experience in matrimonial finance and children cases as well as pre and post nuptial agreements and cohabitation law.
Shaili made use of her spare time in between and after university by volunteering at a school in India and working at various prestigious institutions, including the Ministry of Justice and an international law firm in Beijing.
A client said of Shaili “I can’t begin to express how eternally thankful I am to you all for your kind help on this journey. I am humbled at your kindness and so grateful to you all”.
Shaili is a member of Resolution, an organisation for family lawyers which promotes a constructive and non-confrontational approach to family law cases.
Having always loved history, Shaili has assisted in the curation of many museum exhibitions and projects on the migration and cultures of various ethnic groups. She also loves to read and is an Indian classical dancer!
